Late one night, we get poetic. As logged by me.
Once Upon a Discworld Weary...
(cre) Presto: Bacardi and coke / O sweet nectar of the gods /
lifeblood in my veins
(cre) Saffra: Once upon a midnight dreary/While I typo'ed, weak, and
weary/Over many a glass of rum-and-coke galore
(cre) Saffra: Suddenly, there came a tapping/As of something gently
rapping/The empty bottle crashing down onto the floor.
(cre) Jeremy: Only rum, and nothing more?
(cre) Archana: tis a newbie nothing more
(cre) Saffra cheers Jeremy.
(cre) Saffra: Then the Limon sure was empty/And could never ever
tempt me/Now just Coke, and nothing more.
(cre) Jeremy: I've made a few attempts over my lifetime to memorize
The Raven. Never quite got it all.
(cre) Presto: No, Suddenly my code runtiming, and another word gently
rhyming...
(cre) Saffra: Rhyming for a hard drive core.
(cre) Presto: suddenly there cam a spamming, text on my screen all a
cramming, from the philosopher's board
(cre) Presto: only crap, and nothing more
(cre) Saffra: "Fsck!" I cried, as I ran towards the door/"Stop the
land value thread, I implore!"/Only Bicardi, nothing more!
(cre) Jeremy: "Liquor!" said I, "Dire and risky! Liquor still, if
rum or
whiskey! Get thee back into thy bottle and the all-night liquor store!"
(cre) Presto: Rambling on the value of land, endless drivel on the
rights of man, slogging through it is such a chore. Gun debate, what a
bore
(cre) Jeremy: "Leave no hangover as a token of this bottle I have broken.
Leave my morning sleep unbroken, let me fall upon the floor. Let me fall
into a stupor and just curl up on the floor." Quote the liquor, "Have
some more!"
(cre) Presto: Sydney mudders fill up flame, multiplayers, who's to blame,
How long am I banished for? Quoth the high lord: forever more
(cre) Jeremy: And my stomach, ever churning, still is turning, still
is turning, o'er the pepperoni pizza that I had the night before.
(cre) Saffra: Liaisons running hither-thither/Something has just
fscked up "whisper"/Creators drunkenly bug-fixing/Till the mud crash comes
a-ticking/Quoth the womble: Never more.
Archana cheers at you.
(cre) Wyvyrn: Is a /std/object with a name, short and no recycling
set a valid item?
(cre) Presto: Is /std/object with a name, from wyvyrn the question came,
asking about valid recycling stuff, too much poetry? Not enough!
(cre) Saffra: Just a bugfix, nothing more!
(cre) Wyvyrn: I'd prefer an answer, please/If that's okay/It's really not
nice to tease/The nice Liaison in this way!
