Calm down. Take a deep breath. Feel better? Good. Okay, now we can talk. You are in a role playing game based on the series of books called the Discworld written by Terry Pratchett. This game is put together by people who:
- like the books and/or
- like to create challenges for other people.

The first place you appear is in the Newbie area. This is a place where you can read up about the basics of the game and even complete a very simple quest for a cute little womble. (A womble. No, I don't know what it is exactly, but it looks like a little furry thing. Please don't attack it. You will die and we will laugh at you.)
There are many useful signs in the newbie area, you may like to wander around a bit and get an idea of how things work. The combat area will help you to gain some skills before you enter the game.
