How many times can I die? Can I buy new lives? |

As a new player on Discworld, you begin with seven lives. Like a cat. Only not really. As you only have seven. Not nine. You can purchase new lives via several different methods. In Ankh-Morpork, you can toss royals into the serene and peaceful pool at the Altar of Pishe, in the Apothecary Gardens. In Bes Pelargic, it's a bit trickier, and involves something a bit more tricky, and somewhat avian. Be aware the the cost of lives isn't a set price. It will go up each time you need to buy a life.
